Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey Counties’ December 2022 meeting is Thursday, December 8 at 9am, via Zoom (connection details below).
Guest Speakers
Deidre Hillyard-Manley, Health Program Specialist 1 with the Division of Child and Family Service’s System of Care Grant Unit, will describe the children’s respite program and flex funds available to youth and families from Nevada System of Care. These are available to youth with a mental health diagnosis. In a “system of care,” each family defines their own strengths, the things they want to change, and the kinds of help and support that they feel they need to reach their goals.
Serwind Netzler, Case Manager with Vitality Unlimited: Vitality Integrated Programs Dayton office, will be the second guest speaker of the meeting. He will describe Vitality Unlimited’s integrated programs including clinical, outpatient, and inpatient services for behavioral health (mental health and substance use disorders). Vitality Unlimited serves Elko County, Carson City, Dayton, Reno, and surrounding areas.
