Hatha Yoga in Silver Springs for all Ages!

Silver Springs, Nevada – Each Wednesday from 10:00am – 11:00am, the Silver Stage Food Co-Op offers beginning yoga classes at the Silver Springs Senior Center.

The instructor is Silver Stage Co-Op secretary and local artist Anne Armijo.

Anne encourages people to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing, such as sweatpants.

Please bring 1) a mat or blanket you can fold into cushion for the floor 2) another blanket to cover up with 3) a bag to put your shoes, purse, etc, into.

Classes begin with deep breathing and gentle stretching.

The yoga classes are part of a regional Health Hub, a network focusing on health promotion, prevention and cost-effective, efficient health services delivery. Many groups and individuals, working together strategically, are expanding access to dental, medical, vision and behavioral health care, and wellness education in rural Lyon and Storey Counties.
