The exhibit is designed by artist Karen Kreyeski. Music will be provided by Mylo McCormick.
This FREE event is sponsored by the Silver City Arts group and the Silver City Volunteer Library, with additional support through Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey. The Silver City exhibit is a “Signature Nevada 150 Event” to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of Nevada’s admission to the Union.
During the 19th century, Silver City was known as a rough and tumble mining town of the Old West. But today it is a vibrant, active community filled with artists, writers, archaeologists, actors, musicians, teachers, artisans, and entrepreneurs who take great pride in preserving their community and the National Historic Landmark it is located within.
